Gordon Freeman is the main protagonist of the original Half-Life and its remake, Black Mesa, he is a scientist with a Ph.D in theoretical physics, in the game, (Near the very beginning) he is given the HEV (Hazardous Environmental suit) to proceed with the game. His essay for his Ph.D was teleportation through dense elements. Ironically, Gordon is the only major character in the game without a 4kbc.
